Dan Orbih Re-elected Edo PDP Chair

Members of the Edo State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has re-elected Dan Orbih, as their chairman.

Orbih was re-elected on Monday at the state congress held in Benin.

Others elected on Monday were Emmanuel Ugbon, Deputy State Chairman; Edoba Omorogie, Legal Adviser; Isreal Aguele, Treasury, and Chris Nehikhare, Publicity Secretary, among others.

There was really no contest in the exercise as of the 31 positions available, most of the candidates returned unopposed.

Chairman of the Electoral Panel, Sergeant Awuse, urged all the elected members to work for the success of the party in the forthcoming gubernatorial election.

He further appealed to party leaders and members to settle their differences amicably, as time used to write petitions could be used to woo more members to the party.

In his acceptance speech, Orbih promised to do everything possible to ensure that PDP returns to power in Edo.
