In just some hours after a 4-0 win over Strasbourg last night, Paris Saint-German has reportedly sacked his manager Thomas Tuchel.

Tuchel, who was appointed head coach in 2018, was tasked with a mandate of delivering the Champions League trophy.

Though he led the French side to their first ever Champions League Final but was beaten by Bayern Munich to the ultimate prize.

The former Borussia Dortmund boss having won six trophies with Les Parisiens, including back-to-back Ligue 1 crowns, leaves PSG after two-and-a-half years in charge.

PSG are currently third in Ligue 1 with just a point behind leaders Lyon, and have lost only four of their 17 games in the league.

There are reports alleging that Tuchel might have been sacked following an interview given in his homeland in which he was quoted as saying he had, at times, felt more like “a sports politician or sports minister than a coach” during his tenure.

Lined up to take over from Tuchel is either former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino and former Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegrii.
