Members of staff of the Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, on Friday, June 3, 2016, prevented Chris Giwa and his group from taking over the Glass House.
Giwa had stormed the NFF premises in a convoy of cars and with thugs in an attempt to take over the offices of the football ruling body in Nigeria, but they were resisted by employees of the NFF.
It was gathered that Giwa and his cohorts arrived the Glass House when some of the members of staff around had gone for the Friday Jumat service.
The latest development is coming barely 24 hours after a peace meeting by the Sports Committee of the House of Representatives, at which the House Committee members met with NFF President Amaju Pinnick and Giwa, and announced to the world that they were close to reaching a resolution of the crisis.
