Roberto Martinez has been sacked by Everton after a poor run of form lately. Martinez’s removal, according to reports, is with immediate effect.
The former Wigan coach has had to battle with poor form lately at the club he once guided to Europe shortly after he arrived at the Merseyside.
Lately, the Toffees have only picked up four points in the Premier League since March 5.
One of the worst came on Wednesday when Everton lost 3-0 loss to Sunderland to stretch their dismal run of form to just one win in 10 matches in all competitions.
Martinez’s men were booted out of the FA Cup by Man United in the semi-finals. He still had three years remaining on his contract.
