Abducted Regent Of Akungba Akoko Regains Freedom

Regent of Akungba Akoko in Ondo State, Princess Oluwatoyin Omosowon, has been rescued from her abductors after spending some days in their den.

She regained her freedom on Tuesday after security operatives in Edo State stormed where she was kept by the gunmen.

Before her rescue on Tuesday, two of the aides with her when she was kidnapped on June 2, 2015 had also regained their freedom.

The Regent and her aides were abducted by some gunmen on their way to a function at the Federal University of Technology, Akure.
