Queen Sekinat Elegushi Extends Palliatives to More Communities

Like the popular saying that no one has ever become poor by giving. Remember that the happiest people are not those getting more, but those giving more because it is every man’s obligation to put back into the world at least the equivalent of what he takes out of it.

And giving back to society is what this beautiful and stylish Olori Sekinat Aramide, wife of Lagos flamboyant King Gushi, His Royal Majesty, Oba Saheed Ademola Elegushi (Kusenla III), the Elegushi of Ikateland has been doing since world pandemic COVID-19 outbreak. The stylish queen has been distributing stimulus relief package to communities within the Ikate-Elegushi Kingdom through her foundation ‘The Quality and Selfless Empowerment’, QSE Foundation.

As many have known this queen as a visage of beauty and elegance, who’s comfort precedes style is quite evident from the appearances she makes in both native and western outfits, was in her element, as she put on her regal to do what she knows how to do best when it comes to matters that are dear to the heart.

Since the announcement of total lockdown by the government to hinder the spread of COVID-19 pandemic within the society, Queen Aramide Elegushi, through her QSE foundation that is committed vulnerable to mothers and children, has been putting smiles on the faces of the less-privileged with distributions of food items to widows and single mothers in Eti-Osa local government area in Lagos State.

To cushion the effects of the lockdown occasioned by the Coronavirus pandemic, the QSE Foundation again followed up from where they stop at their last outing of sharing palliatives to widows and single mothers, the QSE Foundation has extended the helping hand to five densely populated communities in Eti-Osa Local Government; like Itedo, Gbara, Igbo-kushu, Ologolo, Iroko-awe, and Ilasan communities and even beyond her kingdom to distribute food items to families affected by the lockdown occasioned by COVID-19 pandemic.

Queen Sekinat Elegushi, who is the promoter of the foundation said the second round of distribution was necessitated by the calls of people from all these areas, asking the foundation for assistance in alleviating their challenges due to the lockdown; hence we have no choice than to assist and support them.

Speaking about the development Olori Gushi said, “Truly, I am overwhelmed by the calls for help from the people. I must confess that people genuinely need help at this time and we can’t just turn deaf ears, that is why we are doing this again, just some few days after we did the last one”.

Olori added that while the government is trying her best at this challenging time, well-meaning individuals should also assist and come to the aid of the people. ” I wish we all can do more for the people and reach as more people as we can,” she quipped.

She was joined by Ijeoma, her friend who is also the wife of media entrepreneur, Chris Ubosi, and other friends, who also brought extra food packs, which was also distributed.
