Manchester United are through to the fifth round of the 2016 Emirates FA Cup. The Louis Van Gaal’s side defeated Shrewsbury Town 3-0 on Monday night.
Goals from Chris Smalling, Juan Mata and Jesse Lingard in the 37th, 45th and 61st minutes respectively sealed the game for the red side of Manchester.
The win came after a miserable Europa League game played last Thursday in Denmark, in which United lost to Midtjylland 2-1 in the first leg of the round of 32.
Monday’s win will definitely be a confidence booster for United, who play Arsenal on Sunday at Old Trafford.
