Members of the Golden Movie Ambassadors of Nigeria, Lagos State Chapter, and The Nigerian Police Force recently played a novelty match to celebrate the unity and peace between the movie ambassadors and the police.
According to TGMAN President, Saidi Balogun, the match featured prominent movie stars like Aisha Abimbola, Kunle Afod, himself and others. They played against top officers of the Force.
Speaking with JustpyeTV on the development, a very excited Kunle Afod said, “Using a football match to showcase these great players who some fans don’t even know they can do well in sport is a good way to herald the unity of movie makers and law enforcement agents in the country.”
Saidi Balogun also joined Kunle Afod during the chat, saying “it’s a fitting way to announce the Golden Movie Ambassador of Nigeria to the world based on the passion held by diverse cultures for football. The Lagos Police PPRO, SP Dolapo Badmos led her team in the match which ended with 3-3.”
He disclosed that the police team came from 3-1 down to level the game.
