Stella Monye Ridicules Ill-Health Tale

Popular singer, Stella Monye, has debunked news making the rounds that she is battling with a disease called emphysema.

It was reported that the ‘singer has been secretly battling with the problem administering self-medications until she could not handle it herself any more. Even till moment, we are told she has warned by family and friends to keep her current state of health as a secret.’

It was further reported that Stella has been ‘trying to raise money from friends and family for the surgery and drugs’ and also planning to sell off ‘a property she acquired three years ago in Lagos to raise fund.’

Reacting to the rumour, Stella said, “I have enjoyed relative good health. My family and close friends know that I was diagnosed with diabetes, but at no time did it become a life threatening matter.

“With the help of my doctors at the Lagos State University Hospital, I am coping well. Look at the way the story was written, it was very malicious and pregnant with meaning. I used to smoke, but I quit a long time ago.

“I am a reformed smoker. May God forgive the mastermind of this wicked message against me. They even said I am trying to sell my property, what sort of wicked story is that?”
