Amosun Mourns Akarigbo

Ogun State governor, Ibikunle Amosun, on Thursday, led members of the State Executive Council to observe a minute silence in honour of the late Akarigbo of Remoland, Oba Adeniyi Michael Sonariwo.

The first class traditional ruler in Ogun State joined his ancestors on Saturday, July 23, 2016, in the United Kingdom, where he reportedly went for medical check-up.

While informing the State Executive Council of the passage of Akarigbo, Amosun said he will be sorely missed.

The governor described the passage of the late Akarigbo as “a great loss to the government and good people of Ogun State.”
