Some youths have taken over the streets of Ado-Ekiti, the Ekiti State capital, chanting anti-Governor Ayodele Fayose songs.
Most of them carried placards with various inscriptions.
The protesters described the governor as an anti-people and called for his resignation from office as they march round the city.
Fayose is having it rough with the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, which froze his personal bank accounts.
The demonstrators want the anit-graft agency to probe the governor despite the immunity clause protecting him from being prosecuted at the moment as stipulated in the 1999 Constitution (Amended).
