A former Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petropeum Corporation, NNPC, Andrew Yakubu, has been arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The ex-NNPC boss was brought to court on Monday, June 20, 2016, by the EFCC alongside Jide Omokore, who is believed to be a close associate of the immediate past Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke.
The duo were brought before Justice Binta Nyako of the Federal High Court, Abuja on four-count charge of money laundering.
Others to be charged by the agency also include Victor Briggs, Abiye Membere, David Mbanefo, Atlantic Energy Brass Development Limited and Atlantic Energy Drilling Concepts Limited.
