To Bashorun Jide Omokore, the chairman of multi-million dollars firm, Energy Resources, gifting a woman who makes his heart flutter and palpitate with excitement a brand new Rolls Royce is no big deal and shouldn’t be cannon-fodder for the tabloids and blogs.
That was exactly what the billionaire friend of President Goodluck Jonathan did to his staff cum mistress, Doyin Dayo Johnson recently.
Now, this mouthwatering gift has not only found its way to blogosphere, it is threatening the fabrics of his company as his top-ranking staff are grumbling loudly about the preferential treatment.
Yet, this is not the first time Omokore would openly show Doyin, a married woman, that he worships the ground on which she threads. Some months back, he sent her on a refresher course in Harvard; a move some of the staff squealed was to take their extra-official assignation away from the prying eyes of the public.
As things stand, Doyin is facing battles from different angles; her husband has reportedly become understandably suspicious because of the expensive gifts from her ‘boss’ and now, the Rolls Royce; her colleagues are antagonizing her for desecrating her marital vows and enjoying undeserved gifts from Omokore.
As things stand, the pretty lady seems to have thrown caution to the wind as she is now hell-bent on enjoying the expensive freebies while they last.
