The man accused of having an extra marital affair with late Ronke Bewaji Shonde, Kayode Eyitayo Oluokun, has refused to speak on the matter.
Husband of the late woman, Lekan Shonde, who allegedly killed his wife, had claimed his better half and Oluokun slept together for four days in a hotel in Abuja.
The suspect told Punch in a phone chat that after his wife returned from the Abuja trip, he overheard her telling Oluokun on the phone that she enjoyed her time with him and that he was better than him (Lekan) on bed.
Lekan claimed after he confronted his late wife, she never felt sorry.
It was reported that an argument later ensued between the couple that night on Thursday, which led to Ronke’s death.
ThisDay reports that it reached out to Oluokun, fondly called Alariwo by his friends, but he has declined talking about the issue.
Oluokun works with Learn Africa Plc as their District Manager. The company is a publishing company situated at Oba Akran in Ikeja, Lagos.
When ThisDay visited his office, the company said Oluokun was still in Abuja and refused to give out his phone number. He was contacted via Facebook and was yet to respond to the query.
He is a graduate of University of Lagos who hails from Oyo State. He recently marked his marriage anniversary in March.
