Airtel Sponsors Julius Agwu’s Laff For Christ Sake Four City Tour

Laff For Christ Sake, an evening of gospel rhythms and jokes is a premium comedy brand created over ten years ago by one of Nigeria’s biggest comedy exports, Julius Agwu and it normally takes place during the Easter celebrations and other festive periods.

As part of the plans to celebrate this year’s Easter period, this season’s Laff 4 Christ Sake tour will hold in four different cities back to back and is fully sponsored by leading telecommunications company, Airtel.

The show will kick off in Calabar on March 25th and the train will move to Uyo on March 26th. It will then be the turn of Port-Harcourt to experience rib cracking jokes on March 27th and the final stop for the tour is Bonny Island on March 28th, 2016.

The event will feature performances from top entertainers such as Buchi, Dan D Humorous, Acapella, Afy Douglas, MC Abbey, Ime Bishop, Funny Bone, Last Prophet, Freke Umoh, General Odey, Joe Praize, Steve Crown, Preye Odede and many others.

The popular show which started in 2004 has featured on stage some of Nigeria’s best comedy acts which include Basketmouth, Bovi, Gordons, Buchi, Dan D Humorous, Senator, Funny Bone, Buchi, Okey Bakassi, Ali Baba, Koffi and many others.

The event has also featured top music stars such as Sammie Okposo, Onyeka Onwenu, Yinka Ayefele, Mike Aremu, Midnight Crew, KSB, Frank Edwards, Eben, Onos, Tim Godfrey and other popular music artistes.

This show has gone down in history as one of the best comedy shows ever organised during the festive revels as the turnout has always been unprecedented across many cities it has been hosted which include Lagos, Abuja, London, Port-Harcourt and other cities.

Put together by Julius Agwu Foundation (JAF) and Reel Laif Limited, an event marketing organization run by Julius Agwu, the show is also supported by Air Peace.
