The monthly sanitation exercise in Lagos State will not hold in on Saturday, September 26, 2015, the state government has announced.
Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Environment, Mrs Oluwatoyin Onisarotu, disclosed that movement will not be restricted tomorrow as normally observed during sanitation because of the Sallah celebration in the country.
A statement from the Ministry noted that, “The Lagos State Government has cancelled restriction of human and vehicular activities during the September monthly sanitation coming up this Saturday.”
However, residents in the state have been urged to ensure their surroundings are kept clean during the festivity.
