Bauchi APC Vice Chairman Resigns

Vice Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in Bauchi State, Mallam Musa Adamu, has resigned from office, we have learnt.

Adamu, also the Zonal Vice Chairman of APC for Bauchi South Senatorial District, announced his resignation on Friday at a news conference in Bauchi. According to him, his resignation was borne out of his desire to protect his image.

He accused the APC in the state of lacking leadership, adding that still being in the party would tarnish his hard-earned image, honour and dignity.

“I tender my resignation as APC Zonal Vice Chairman Bauchi South Senatorial District in view of the prevailing circumstances and political realities of present day Bauchi State APC,” Adamu told journalists.

Meanwhile, Adamu stressed that he is still a member of the APC, expressing hopes that the issues are resolved quickly to save the party in the state.
