Ambode Fires LAGBUS Boss, Others

Governor Akinwunmi Ambode has sacked the Managing Director of LAGBUS Asset Management Limited, Tunde Disu, Aproko247 has learnt.

Ambode also removed the Director General of the Lagos Safety Commission, Odebunmi Dominga; and the General Manager of Lagos State Infrastructure Maintenance and Regulatory Authority, LASIMRA, Joe Igbokwe.

It was learnt that Disu was sacked some days ago.

A statement signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Tunji Bello, revealed that Ambode has approved the appointment of new heads for the Lagos State Safety Commission, LASIMRA and the Water Regulatory Board.

While Fouad Alade Oki was appointed as the Director General of the Lagos State Safety Commission, Funso Oyekola Ologunde was announced as the Chairman of LASIMRA and Jide Odekunle as General Manager.

Also, Igbokwe was redeployed to Wharf Landing Fee Collecting Authority as Chairman. Arch. Ahmed Kabir Abdullahi was appointed as the Executive Secretary of the Water Regulatory Board.
