The three month deadline given to the Nigerian troops by President Muhammadu Buhari to get rid of Boko Haram terrorist group from the Nigerian soil seems to be on point
The Nigerian Army, on Thursday, disclosed that troops are already “clearing Boko Haram enclaves along axis of advance from Bitta to Tokumbere, Borno State.”
The Army further said, “Our troops are making substantial progress within the fringes of Sambisa forests.”
On Tuesday, the Army disclosed that it apprehended some kingpins who supply logistics and drugs to the insurgents, who have killed several people in north east Nigeria through various deadly acts including bombing.
The new Service Chiefs were given till December 2015 to win the war against terrorism in Nigeria.
