Spokesman to President Muhammadu Buhari, Femi Adesina, has said his boss is doing everything possible to select the best hands in the land to work with him in the next four years.
Speaking with TVC News on Monday evening, Adesina said Buhari will announce his team when he is ready.
“It is the prerogative of the President to name his Ministers. He is doing everything possible to ensure he work with the best hands in the land,” Adesina said in the chat with TVC News.
On the National Assembly crisis, the presidential spokesman said Buhari has been having series of meetings with key players involved in the crisis.
According to Adesina, the President is going against his wish of not meddling into the National Assembly because he never envisaged things to get to this stage.
“The President never thought it would degenerate into what we have now when he earlier promised not to interfere in the leadership of the National Assembly,” Adesina said.
