Body of a former Vice Chancellor of Federal University of Technology, Akure, FUTA, Prof Albert Ilemobade, has been found in his home in Akure, the Ondo State capital.
His already decomposed lifeless body was discovered on Sunday afternoon at his abandoned store at Ilaje Street, Ijapo Estate, Akure.
He was kidnapped some days ago and efforts to seek his freedom proved abortive until the latest development.
Meanwhile, the police have made arrests in connection with the murder of the deceased.
It was gathered that Ilemobade’s gateman was apprehended by the police over the death of his master. He was accused of killing the late university don.
A vehicle reportedly purchased not too long ago by the late Prof was said to have been recovered by the police in Ogun State.
Investigation into the unfortunate incident has already begun.
