When Richard Nyong-led Lekki Gardens entered into the estate business in Lagos, many had thought the company would take away their pains, but information reaching us now seems otherwise.
Aproko247 gathered that those who had subscribed into some of their houses scattered around Lekki axis of Lagos are crying in pain over what they term as outrageous billings.
Our correspondent learnt that some of the subscribers are regretting doing business with the housing outfit.
According to what we learnt, those who got homes from Lekki Gardens alleged that the company now asks for additional charges after they had made full payment for their respective houses.
Some of these additional fees include payment of an extra N55 per kilowatt for electricity, Deed of Assignment fee, which we learnt is in excess of N500,000 per person.
Also, they claim infrastructure at the estates are nothing to write home about, while they are asked to pay about N250,000 per apartment as monthly service charge.
Meanwhile, subscribes have vowed to take up the matter with the company if nothing is urgently done about this.
Efforts made by Aproko247 to get the side of the story of Lekki Gardens proved abortive as at press time.
