**Set For World Anointing Crusade

The publisher of well known daily devotional booklet, Our Daily Manna, ODM, Bishop (Dr) Chris Kwakpovwe, penultimate Friday, escaped an assassination attempt when some gunmen stormed his church auditorium during a vigil.

It was gathered by Aproko247 that the suspects, numbering about five, damaged a car belonging to the Bishop’s son. The gunmen were reportedly asking “where is the GO (General Overseer)?” The matter, as we further learnt, has since been reported to the police, who have launched an investigation into it.

Since 2013, Bishop Kwakpovwe has been on the receiving end of impersonators and blackmailers in the media and on the internet. They have taken the advantage of the liberality of the social media to extort, embarrass and sabotage his public image, because he refused to succumb to their outrageous ransom.

Also in 2013, the printer of ODM was shot dead by some gunmen.

Recall that in 2013, a prominent national daily newspaper in Nigeria reported that the Bishop Kwakpovwe was assassinated at his home by some unknown gunmen. This caused panic among ardent readers and beneficiaries of the life-changing devotional booklet, ODM.

Publicist of the respected Bishop urged the public to disregard any post on the internet by a faceless group which casts aspersions on the integrity of the man of God.

It was gathered that some persons have plagiarized the ODM and placed a paid advertorial in one of the dailies.

Bishop Kwakpovwe urged his teeming members and followers all around the world to disregard the actions of those he described as ‘satanic elements’, adding that there’s no truth in these media publications as they are meant to create confusion and frustrate the anointing service.
