A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State has been murdered, Aproko247 can report. The politician, Chimezie Anucha, was the interim Chairman of APC for Ward 9 in Umuogerem Obibi, Etche in Etche local council of the state. He was killed on Sunday morning.
According to what we gathered, the deceased was driving to his village, Achara, where he was assassinated. He had earlier been called by an unknown person to show up in Achara for a business. However, few metres to the place (Achara), his vehicle had a flat tyre and he was ambushed by his killers while trying to fix the car.
Late Anucha lived in Port Harcourt before his untimely death. He was in his 40s. This magazine gathered that the deceased left behind a wife, three children and an aged mother.
