Libya defeated Ghana on Saturday at the African Nations Championship to win the competition.

Both teams played a barren draw in game which stretched into extra time. After sweating it out for 120 minutes, the match was decided through the spot kicks.

The two goalkeepers saved two penalties each in the shoot-out before Ghana’s Joshua Tijani missed a spot kick, which handed the cup to Libya. The kicks ended 4-3.
