BREAKING: 11 PDP Senators Decamp To APC

Aproko247 has learnt that 11 Senators elected under the platform of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP, at the National Assembly have defected to the opposition party, the All Progressives Congress, APC.

This news was confirmed by the interim National Publicity Secretary of the APC, Lai Mohammed, in a press statement.

He stated that the affected Senators joined the APC on Wednesday morning and that a formal letter to this effect has been delivered to Senate President, David Mark, which is expected to be read on the floor of the Senate this afternoon.

“This is only the first installment of many other Senators of the Peoples Democratic Party expected to defect to the All Progressives Congress soon,” Mohammed said.
