In other matches, Everton lost to West Ham 2-3; Manchester City compounded the woes of Aston Villa, who were defeated 4-0; Newcastle lost 1-3 at home to AFC Bournemouth; Southampton and Sunderland played 1-1, while Swansea and Norwich City ended 1-0.
As at the time of filing this report, the game between Watford and Leicester City was ongoing and was 0-0.
