Rivers Tribunal Gets New Judge

A new judge has been appointed for the Rivers State Governorship Election Tribunal, Aproko247 has been informed. This followed the reconstitution of the panel.

With this development, Justice Muazu Pindiga will no longer serve as Chairman of the Tribunal.

However, this move has been kicked against by counsel to Governor Nyesom Wike, who claim this might affect the outcome of the panel.

But the new Chairman has said he took over from Justice Pindiga following an order of the Appeal Court in a letter he said was dated September 1, 2015.
