A fast-rising singer in Lagos, Small Doctor, got more than he bargained for at the weekend when some youths in Agege area of the state descended on him for refusing to part with some cash.
According to what we gathered, Small Doctor had gone to perform for Winner Golden Bet at the Agege Stadium. However, after the singer finished, he headed for his car, but saw a mob there asking him to give them money, which he reportedly refused.
The youths, who became angry, threw caution into the wind, allegedly stealing his jewellery in the process.
Not done with that, they reportedly pounced on the singer, giving him the beating of his life. The mob was said to have overpowered bodyguards attached to Small Doctor.
He was reportedly let go by the mob after he agreed to part with some money, also not until he got a swollen face. He is said to be receiving treatment at the moment.
Meanwhile, efforts made by Aproko247 to reach the singer on this story were futile.
The event he performed at was a friendly football match involving some members of the Super Eagles including Gbolahan Salami, Ogenyi Onazi, amongst others.
