Publiseer Invited to Mastercard Foundation’s Young Africa Works Summit in Cape Town

Founders of Nigeria’s digital content distribution platform Publiseer, Chidi Nwaogu and Chika Nwaogu, have been invited y Mastercard Foundation to participate in its Young Africa Works Summit, taking place in Cape Town, South Africa on October 17 and 18, 2019.

Chidi Nwaogu, Publiseer’s CEO, took to his twitter page to announce this. This is following his selection as a Westerwelle Fellow and a Yunus&Youth Global Fellow, and his recent shortlist in the Forbes Africa 30 Under 30 List. This news also comes with the founders’ invitation to the 2nd Midem African Forum, in association with Trace, taking place in Lagos, Nigeria, on April 15.

The Young Africa Works Summit is expected to be an inspiring event that will be led by young innovators and entrepreneurs who are driven to solve the issue of our time, which is youth unemployment in Africa. These innovators and entrepreneurs are those expected to activate solutions to create dignified and fulfilling work for 30 million young people, especially young women, in Africa by 2030.

The global community of stakeholders that will be participating at the summit will include African heads of state, business leaders, partner organizations, and a contingent of African youth from across the continent, to make this ambitious goal a reality.
