An article published in Reuters reports that “former Lebanese army commander Michel Aoun was sworn in as the country’s elected president on Monday, and vowed to fight terrorism and to prevent regional ‘fires’ spreading to Lebanon.” The article also reports that he vows that Lebanon’s “government would tackle terrorism ‘preemptively and preventively’ until it is uprooted.” As a wise former military officer, President Aoun should be commended for his sincere desire to save lives by preventing terrorism rather than acting after it occurs. Throughout time, leaders have professed this lofty goal of prevention, yet have had no success achieving it. Adversaries have always devised methods to counter any preventive approach, and no doubt they will attempt to do the same in Lebanon. As demonstrated by numerous terrorist attacks not only in Lebanon but worldwide, conventional approaches cannot provide a fool-proof defense against sudden acts of violence, or remove suicide terrorists willing to die for their cause.
This weakness refers to all current approaches, with little chance of an exception. However, if President Aoun seeks it, a solution to achieve true, unquestioned protection for Lebanon is available. This prevention method is distinctly different from conventional approaches. It comes from the integration of knowledge available in the social sciences with principles from unified quantum field theory. It is not based on conventional weaponry nor the field of politics (See: http://www.gusp.org). It is known in military circles as Invincible Defense Technology (IDT).
IDT Prevention Approach Poses a Better Solution
Modern defense strategists now advocate the creation of prevention strategies and technologies that operate farther and farther to the “left of the boom.” This means that, if bomb attacks were placed on a timeline, the best approaches would intervene to the left of the boom (bomb explosion), that is, long before the explosions happened. They argue that if bombs have been planted, anti-terrorism approaches have failed. I argue that even this point on the timeline is too late.
To gain the ultimate strategic advantage, the President Aoun’s approach of tackling terrorists must address the root cause of terrorism — collective societal stress on the national level.
How Does IDT Work? And How is it Applied to Reduce Collective Stress?
Military personnel, functioning as a coherence-creating unit in society, practice the non-religious technique of Transcendental Meditation and its advanced practices together in a group twice a day, seven days a week. This specially trained military unit, an “IDT Prevention Wing of the Military” uses IDT to neutralize the buildup of stress in the national consciousness that ultimately fuels terrorism, war, and crime. As societal stress and frustration subside, government leaders and citizens alike are more capable of finding orderly and constructive solutions to the issues that have separated them for generations.
Latin American Military Prevention Wing Demonstrates Anti-terrorism Invincible Defense Technology
Experience with IDT in highly stressed areas of the globe have demonstrated increased economic incentives and growth of prosperity. Individual creativity and entrepreneurship increase as well. With greater civic calm, citizens’ aspirations rise and a more productive and balanced society emerges. Such a society naturally disallows violence as a means for change, or as an expression of discontent. With this, the ground for terrorism is eliminated. Moreover, this positive change in social trends takes place within a few days or weeks after IDT is introduced. The changes are measurable from such statistics as reduced terrorism, crime rates, accidents, hospital admissions and infant mortality.
A Field-tested Proven Approach
The IDT approach has been used during wartime (including Lebanon, see studies summarized at: http://davidleffler.com/2011/sapratableii), resulting in reduction of fighting, reduced war deaths and casualties, and improved progress toward resolving the conflict through peaceful means. IDT is totally unlike any other defense technology in that it does not use violence in an attempt to quell violence. Not only is this a more civilized approach, but also the IDT defense technology supersedes all other known defense technologies (which are based on electronic, chemical, and/or nuclear forces). Therefore, militaries that deploy it gain the ultimate strategic advantage. And it has the added advantage of being extremely cost-effective, requiring minimal time and training to utilize.
If President Aoun establishes Prevention Wings of the Military, they will ease the current high tensions, reverse centuries of mistrust and hatred, and permanently prevent future unrest. These IDT units will create genuine and lasting reconciliation and friendship where there was once only hatred and conflict. The powerful IDT human-resource-based defense technology disallows negative trends and prevents enemies from arising. No enemies, means no terrorism and full security, as well as a normal, happy, productive life for everyone.
Backed by Scientific Research
Extensive scientific research objectively shows that this approach works. When large assemblies of civilian IDT experts gathered during the years 1983-1985, terrorism-related casualties decreased 72 per cent, international conflict decreased 32 per cent, and overall violence was reduced in nations without intrusion by other governments. (See a summary of this peer-reviewed research: A New Role for the Military: Preventing Enemies from Arising–Reviving an Ancient Approach to Peace. Journal of Management & Social Science (JMSS), Vol. 5, No. 2., pp. 153-162. This peer-reviewed journal was published by the Institute of Business & Technology BIZTEK in Pakistan.)
Recent events show that IDT is desperately needed. There is truly no other solution. President Aoun must act now.
