Multiple award-winning artiste, Akande ‘9ice’ Abolore, has released new single he entitled ‘Economy’.

9ice, who is also called Ancestor, revealed that this time, he was on a song that talks about the Nigerian Economy; its ups and downs.

‘Economy is a song or as a topic is rare in today’s entertainment world but crucial, necessary and needed for us as Nigerians to grow. We know what we want, but we want to know where we went wrong and how to prefer solutions to our problems,’ the Gongo Aso fame star said.

Economy was produced by DJ Coublon, who produced ‘Wash’ for Tekno and ‘Good Times’ for Kiss Daniel.

DJ Coublon adds his creativity on this song as Ancestor prepares for his 8th album on October 1, 2016, which is dedicated to his brother, producer and mentor, Olumide Ogunade also known as ID Cabasa.

This album is for ID Cabasa, all profits and sales go to the most prolific music producer of our time, ID Cabasa. 9ice’s intention on the project is to celebrate his mentor and long-time associate while he is still alive.

It would be recalled that 9ice released his debut album, Certificate in 2007. He then dropped Gongo Aso in 2008. This was followed by Tradition in 2009, Bashorun in 2011 and Versus in 2011. He did CNN in 2014, GRA in 2014.
