Prolific filmmaker, Zik Zulu Okafor, has urged Nigerians to pray for ailing comedian, Julius Agwu, who is presently battling an undisclosed illness at a hospital in the United Kingdom.

The comedian had travelled to London for his Crack Ya Ribs comedy show on August 28, 2016, but he could not show up for the event because he was reportedly admitted in the hospital before then.

Though his camp claimed the comedian was only in the hospital for a routine check-up, but events unfolding have rubbished this.

Before now, Julius Agwu underwent a brain surgery abroad, which was successful.

Days ago, Zik Zulu posted a picture of the comedian on hospital bed, urging Nigerians to pray for him.

“You have no business lying on this bed! You are a sprightly and springy soul, constantly on the move. You can’t be in pain and agony when you are the laugh merchant. You trade in smiles and laughter, you make it possible for us to afford a smile even in brutally challenging moments. So, why on earth, should Julius D’ Genius be held down in pain. It is a tragic irony in a tragic world.

“On this solemn afternoon, in my office, as I go down on my knees, I call on my God that has never failed me. I call Him to lay his hands on you. And I decree that you are healed in Jesus name.
