On Friday, July 8, 2016, former Group Managing Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, Ibe Kachikwu, handed over to his successor, Maikanti Baru.
Baru was appointed as the new NNPC boss this week by President Muhammadu Buhari.
Kachikwu, who is presently the Minister of State, Petroleum Resources, said he is confident Baru would move the corporation forward.
Baru, in his remarked, hailed the heights his predecessor has taken the NNPC to and promised to do more.
