According to ThisDay, there are strong indications that founder of Christ Embassy Church, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome, has begun process of filling the vacate position left behind by his former wife, Anita, who has now reverted to her maiden name, Ebhodaghe, as her surname.
To this end, ThisDay reports, some ladies in the church, which boasts of a large number of worshippers, have started jostling for the exalted position of ‘Mummy G.O.’
Interestingly, the man of God might be looking toward having a light-skinned lady as his sweetheart, according to the report.
If this is true, then chocolate skinned ladies may never have the chance to win the pastor’s heart.
Since his marriage crashed some months ago, Pastor Oyakhilome has kept a low profile.
“According to a source in his church, the dandy cleric is considering taking another wife. Although he hasn’t made this known to his congregation, findings revealed that a large segment of his congregation is already aware of his plans to take another wife,” the paper reports.
“The ladies in particular have started positioning themselves to fill up the void created by Anita’s departure from his life. Already, a lot of fair-skinned ladies in the church’s branches at home and abroad have started jostling to become the next Mrs. Oyakhilome. But Pastor Chris is reportedly not interested in any of them,” ThisDay further reports.
It was reported that that by the pastor names his new bride, every member of his congregation will gape in surprise.
“Pastor Chris allegedly gave up on his former wife when it became clear to him that there was no way that they could resolve their differences and save their marriage.
“Previous attempts to reconcile the couple by church elders, friends and family had proved futile,” it reports.
