Aproko247 has learnt that the remains of late actress, Henrietta Kosoko, have been taken to her hometown in Delta State.
Late Thursday, it was learnt that the woman would no longer be buried at the Atan Cemetery in Yaba, Lagos, as earlier planned.
This was because her husband, Jide Kosoko, a top actor in Nollywood, allegedly failed to pay dowry to her family while alive.
The family stressed that Jide Kosoko does not have authority over the woman’s corpse because he did not do the necessary things on the woman while she was alive.
Aproko247 learnt from Head Communications of the Burial Committee, Yomi Fabiyi, that the body of Henrietta has left Lagos for Abraka, Delta State for the burial proper.
According to Fabiyi, an actor, this was after a lying-in-state was held at the residence of the late actress in Lagos.
“She will be buried in few hours,” Fabiyi said in a broadcast on his Blackberry Messenger, BBM.
“We apologise for the inconveniencies the change in schedule and plans has caused.
“We thank you all for your support and understanding,” he concluded.
