Fast-rising female singer, Floxy, has debunked rumour that she has called off the alleged romantic affair between her and her manager, Chinedu Hardy Nwadike.
The charming artiste insisted she never dated the handsome dude.
Floxy, who hails from Ebonyi State, disclosed that she initially did not want to make a comment on the issue, but was forced to do so when people started asking questions.
“I have tried to ignore a report that I have broken up with my manager, Chinedu Hardy Nwadike, but because of the several questions coming up after the news was reproduced on other media, I now have to address the issue.
“I know things can get very complicated in the sight of the public when a female artiste is working with a male manager, but I have never dated Hardy and he has never asked me out since we started working in 2013. This makes the breakup impossible unless it is on the side of business,” she disclosed on one of her social media accounts.
Having accepted that gossips are part of what entertainers will have to live with, Floxy assured everyone that she is still working with her management and that they are looking forward to achieving greater things together.
She, however, said that there are still possibilities that she would be quitting the management outfit someday, but that can only happen when a bigger offer comes for her and they have been praying for that.
“I am still with OtownGist and can only leave when the time is right and it would be for the best just like we have been praying.
“To summarize everything, I never dated Hardy, and we never broke up. He is like family to me and would always do everything possible to see that I grow. I know it’s difficult to keep our personal lives away from the public, but we will do our best.
“I am grateful to everyone who showed concern through calls, SMS and on social media. I want us to understand that aside being an artiste, I also want to be very educated, so if I delay in music, just know I’m facing my books and I thank my family, friends, fans and management for understanding all that,” she remarked.
