Pipelines belonging to Agip and Shell, two oil and gas multinationals, have been blown up by Niger Delta Avengers.
The attacks reportedly took place in the early hours of Saturday, May 28, 2016, in Nembe, Bayelsa State.
The Niger Delta Avengers group confirmed this via its Twitter handle.
The group said, “At About 2:15am on Saturday, the @NDAvengers blow up Nembe 1, 2 and 3 Brass to Bonny Trunk Line belonging to Agip and Shell.”
These attacks come barely 48 hours after the group blew up an oil facility in Delta State belonging to NNPC.
