Minister of Finance Mrs Kemi Adeosun, will appear before the House of Representatives on Thursday (today) to answer questions on diversification of the economy.
She will be expected to address the lawmakers at the sectoral debates on the executive’s commitment to the government’s diversification policy.
Her appearance on Thursday is in continuation of the programme, which has also welcome Adeosun’s colleagues like the past series.
Minister of Information, Lai Mohammed; that of Agriculture, Audu Ogbeh; Communications Minister, Shittu Adebayo and Solid Minerals, Kayode Fayemi have earlier appeared before the lawmakers.
Thursday debate is the fifth in the series of ‘sectoral debate,’ which is part of the legislative agenda of the 8th National Assembly aimed at explaining how to diversify Nigeria’s oil-based economy and also to address challenges facing different aspects of the Nigerian economy. It commenced May 3, 2016.
