A lawmaker in the House of Representatives, Mohammed Gudaji Kazaure, has mistakenly shot himself in the leg at his residence.
It was reported that Kazaure, who is a legislator from Jigawa State, was ‘romancing’ his pistol when he accidentally pulled the trigger, and the bullet hit his leg.
He was reportedly flown abroad for treatment, precisely at a hospital in the United Arab Emirates, UAE.
Kazaure became well known when footages of his presentations on the floor of the House and interviews went viral on social media.
It was gathered that the bullet damaged his three toes.
He was initially rushed to an Abuja hospital before he was later flown to Dubai.
