The trial of spokesman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, was adjourned on Monday after Justice Ishaq Bello of FCT High Court in Abuja, said he could no longer see clearly.

He informed counsels of both the prosecution and defence that he was seeing shadows and that he could no longer go on with the case.

“I had a surgery on my eyes, and I am already seeing shadows… so for this reason we will have to adjourn,” Justice Bello declared and shifted the trial date to May 26.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, arraigned Metuh on the allegation of destruction of evidence.

He is also facing multiple counts of criminal breach of trust and money laundering preferred against him by the EFCC at the Abuja court.
