Osoba Returns To APC From SDP

Osoba

Former governor of Ogun State, Olusegun Osoba, on Sunday made a return to the party he left almost two years ago.

Osoba left the APC for the Social Democratic Party, SDP, when the state governor, Ibikunle Amosun failed to handover the party’s structure to him.

The loggerheads between the two leaders of the ruling party in Ogun State informed the decision of the former governor to leave the APC with his loyalists.

Osoba had a closed door meeting with leaders of the APC at the residence of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in Ikoyi, Lagos on Sunday, which was not attended by Amosun and after the talks, the Osun State governor, Rauf Aregbesola, told journalists that all issues have been resolved with Osoba.

“A time was when Osoba switched to another party, he was a foundation member of the APC and he was in the APC throughout my election.
