Special Assistant to Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State on Special Projects, Cyril Dum Wite, has been arrested by security operatives in the state.
According to reports, Wite was apprehended alongside four hoodlums believed to have been employed to disrupt the supplementary election near the INEC office in Bori.
In the visuals posted on Facebook, the governor’s aide was seen sitting on the ground alongside other suspects.
Towards the end of the video, he was heard saying he was just being beaten by some people and forced to stay on the ground like a criminal.
