Ace Nigerian comedian, Ayo Makun, fondly called AY, has explained why his wife left his house in Lekki, Lagos State, which fuelled the rumour of marriage crisis.
It would be recalled that in February 2016, there was a rumour that AY’s better half, Mabel, packed out of her matrimonial home on allegation of domestic violence and infidelity with an actress by AY.
Though the comedian reacted to the issue, claiming all was well, but some of his fans and critics were sceptical of his defence.
This was because it was reported that the women deleted all his pictures on her social media pages, which gave strong indication that she was not happy with her husband.
But at the Chronicles of Ushbebe show held last weekend in Lagos, AY mounted the stage to speak on the issue.
AY told the multitude guests at the event that his wife left his house for three days because of fumigation.
The humour merchant said he had to fumigate the house, which informed Mabel’s decision to leave so as not to be affected by the poisonous gas.
His defence at the occasion caused a general murmur as some of the found it weak.
