Parents Of Rescued Lagos School Girls Visit Ambode

Following the efforts of the Lagos State governor, Akinwunmi Ambode, in ensuring the safe rescue of their daughters on Sunday, parents of the abducted, but now freed students of Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary, Ikorodu, have paid a thank-you visit to the governor.

Ambode received the parents along with management of the school on Monday at his office in Alausa, Ikeja.

They thanked the governor for using every means available to him to re-unite them with their daughters, who were kidnapped in their school on Monday night.

The governor, in his remarks, said his administration is determined to ensure lives of every residents of the state are safe.

Also with the governor to receive the guests was his deputy, Dr (Mrs) Oluranti Adebule.

Parents of the rescued students at the visit were Toyin Olaniyan, Mrs Akinayo Ayorinde and Mrs Funmi Olusa.

Also at the governor’s office were Executive Secretary, Lagos Anglican School Management Board, Ven. Victor Olusa; Principal of Babington Macaulay Junior Seminary, Ikorodu, Ven. Olaoluwa Adeyemi; and another Parent, Mrs Lola Odunfa.
