A media production company that specialises in music videos, commercials and promos has announced the first ever Music Video Directors’ seminar in Lagos next month.
The company, MKN, has invited US-based music video director, Director X, as well as Sesan and Moe Musa, to speak at the occasion.
The seminar, which is the first of its kind in the country, is expected to have over 1,000 participants, who will be tutored on the secrets of the job.
The event, tagged ‘Inside the Mind of a Successful Video Director’, holds at The Summit on NERDC Road in Ikeja, from 11am to 3pm on March 12, 2016.
Director X has directed music videos for Rihanna, Drake, Sean Paul and Jay Z to name a few. Sesan who has worked with several artistes including Wizkid, Wande Coal, Davido, while Moe Musa has done jobs for Tiwa Savage, Patoranking, Fuse ODG and several others.
Participants will get the opportunity to gain firsthand experience from the above directors and also mingle with them.
Tickets are already on sale from N12,000, while for VIPs from N30,000.
VIP ticket holders will have the privilege to mingle Director X, Sesan and Moe Musa at an after party later that night.
