Former governor of Borno State, Ali Modu Sherrif, has been installed as the substantive Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
He was confirmed on Tuesday, February 16, 2016, by the National Executive Committee, NEC, of the party.
After his confirmation by the opposition party’s NEC on Tuesday, he took his oath of office.
He is now saddled with the responsibility of repositioning the former ruling party and to wrestle power from the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, in 2019.
