According to reports reaching our newsroom, a small aircraft carrying about 11 persons has gone missing.
The helicopter was said to have left Port Harcourt, Rivers State, to Lagos on Wednesday and its whereabouts unknown.
It was gathered that the small plane, a 5N BJQ Bristow carrying nine passengers and two crew members, was flying about 1500 feet.
The Accident Investigation Bureau, AIB, confirmed the incident.
