Counsel to famous Nigerian music producer, Oluwaseyi Christian Akerele, alias Shizzi, has sent a letter to comedian turn singer, Tunde Ednut and another top producer, Sunday Nweke, fondly called Masterkraft.
The lawyer, Abimbola Fakeye, on behalf of his law firm, Fakeye & Co, wrote a letter to the duo, informing them of an alleged infringement of his client’s intellectual work.
Shizzi, who has produced his songs for Davido, claimed that Tunde Ednut used a beat he (Shizzi) produced for Wande Coal in 2014, for his (Tunde Ednut) new single entitled ‘Kosowo‘ which is produced by MasterKraft.
He urged the duo to stop promoting the song and take down all the download links for the song, stressing that failure to do these within 24 hours would force a further action.
