Erstwhile Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Victor Olabimtan, has been kidnapped by some unknown gunmen.
Olabimtan was reportedly seized on Monday morning in Abuja by the hoodlums and was taken to an undisclosed location.
His ordeal is coming shortly after he indicated his interest to contest the 2016 governorship election in Ondo State.
He recently unveiled his ‘Victor Olabimtan Initiative for Change and Emancipation, VOICE 2016,’ in Akure at a media parley, where he said he was participating in the poll to revive the infrastructure deficit in the state.
